Panattoni adds 30,000 sqm to Tchibo’s distribution centre in Cheb

With the recent completion of the third phase of the Tchibo distribution centre in Panattoni Park Cheb, adding approximately 30,000 sqm, the hall, totalling over 100,000 sqm, has become the largest industrial building completed this year in the Czech Republic. Panattoni as a developer completed the project together with investment group Accolade. Since the first phase of construction in 2016, the tenant has been Tchibo, one of the world's most important coffee producers and consumer goods retailers. The new part of the site aspires to a high BREEAM New Construction environmental certification rating of "Excellent".

Accolade gets €54 million refinancing by Aareal Bank

Accolade and Aareal Bank have closed a refinancing deal, with a total value of €54 million (CZK 1.4 billion) for four Polish parks: in Bydgoszcz, Białystok, Mińsk Mazowiecki and Legnica. This is a sequel to their previous transaction, concluded last year, whose value amounted to €153 million (CZK 4 billion). Apart from increasing portfolio profitability, the refinancing is also to support the execution of Accolade’s strategy that aims to develop modern business in Europe.

Accolade and Panattoni to build robotics centre for Amazon

Panattoni will construct a robotic fulfilment centre for Amazon on a brownfield site, formerly used for a sugar factory settling tanks, near Kojetín in the Přerov region. It will be the first fully-fledged multi-storey logistics building with state-of-the-art technological equipment in the Czech Republic. The zone was developed by the Accolade Group, which is also the investor and owner of the industrial park.

Accolade to invest €50 million in Northern Poland

North and North-West Poland has become a new target location for the international investor Accolade. It will direct its investments of over €50 million to two new locations where industrial parks will be built. The cities of Elbląg and Koszalin are conveniently located near the sea and major ports as well as important road routes. The new tenants including DPD and AutoStore have already rented their place in the newly planned parks.

Accolade intensifies its expansion in Poland

In the first half of 2021, Accolade has achieved a lease of 370,000 sqm of modern and sustainable space to tenants in the e-commerce, logistics, and light industry sectors. The company has also been very active in expanding its current industrial parks and investing in new projects. Almost 100,000 sqm of warehouses have been completed and a further 430,000 sqm of modern industrial space, worth more than €400 million, is under development.

Accolade decided to expand its industrial park in Gorzów Wielkopolski. In this strategic location in Western Poland, in addition to the present spaces of 53,000 sqm for modern business, it has acquired new plots and will deliver nearly 100,000 sqm of new industrial warehouses. New projects aspire to BREEAM certification of sustainability at tje “Excellent” level. The total Accolade investment in the region amounts to €125 million.

AUTODOC becomes the largest tenant in Accolade Park Szczecin

The construction of the last hall of the biggest industrial park in Poland in which Accolade invested has begun. With 229,000 sqm of 100% leased GLA, Park Szczecin is one of the biggest multi-let parks in the country and will be fully completed in early 2022. From the very beginning, AUTODOC Logistics – Polish branch of the international AUTODOC Group, one of the leading players in the automotive aftermarket – has been growing together with Accolade and Szczecin Park and successfully expanding. With the fourth hall and a total leased space of 74,100 sqm, AUTODOC is now one of the largest tenants in the Polish part of Accolade’s portfolio.

Accolade buys warehouse in Central Poland

  • BearingPoint has relocated its Bucharest office to Vastint’s Timpuri Noi Square, in a deal brokered by Griffes.
  • Lagardère Travel Retail has renewed its 2,300 sqm office lease for its HQ at the Bucharest-based Globalworth Campus, in a deal brokered by Cushman & Wakefield Echinox.

New appointments

  • Colliers Hungary has appointed Balint Laszlo as Director and Head of Design & Build. Laszlo brings over a decade of expertise in technical project management and fit-out execution, with a specific focus on the office and industrial sectors. He previously served as Head of Fit Out at Futureal Group, where he managed project execution, technical delivery, and cross-functional collaboration. His professional background also includes site management and commercial leadership roles.
  • NEPI Rockcastle has nominated Zelda Roscherr as an Independent Non-Executive Director. Roscherr will stand for election at the Annual General Meeting (AGM) in May 2026. André van der Veer, currently an Independent Non-Executive Director, will retire at the conclusion of the AGM and will not seek re-election.
  • Panattoni has promoted Nick Cripps to the position of Head of International Capital Markets for Europe, the UK, the Middle East, and India. Based in London, Cripps is tasked with leading the firm’s global capital markets strategy across 18 diverse markets. He joined Panattoni five years ago as Head of UK Capital Markets.
