Student Depot plans to complete two new investments in Warsaw and Łódź in the autumn. Both student residences will open at the beginning of the academic year 2023/2024, thereby increasing Student Depot's portfolio by nearly a thousand beds. The new residents will find fully furnished rooms, coworking areas, multimedia rooms, as well as fitness zones.

Similar to other Student Depot projects, students will not only have access to rooms but also enjoy shared spaces such as fitness areas, work & chill zones, quiet study rooms, as well as multimedia, gaming, pool, and foosball rooms.

"Students appreciate the comfort and design of our rooms, as well as the attractive common spaces. Meanwhile, their guardians have the assurance that our buildings are secure with 24/7 protection. This offering caters to the needs of every student, and our student apartments are in high demand. Now, with new investments in Warsaw and Łódź, we will be even better prepared to meet the significant demand for higher-standard dormitories," says Jolanta Bubel, Managing Director of Student Depot.

"Entering the private dormitory market in Poland almost 10 years ago, we recognized a tremendous demand for such services. The construction of these two additional dormitories confirms the effectiveness of our forecasts and strategy. Last year, we opened our largest student residence in Kraków, with 795 beds. Thanks to the new investments in Warsaw and Łódź, our portfolio will grow to nearly 4,200 beds, and we have plans for further investments in Purpose-Built Student Accommodation (PBSA) buildings," comments Marek Obuchowicz, Partner at Griffin Capital Partners, responsible for the development of the Student Depot platform.

The investment in Warsaw is being carried out in collaboration with Kajima Poland, the general contractor for the building, and 4am Architekci, responsible for the design. Construction began in mid-2021, and the opening is planned for the beginning of the academic year 2023/2024 - however, students can already reserve their places.

The new residents will have access to classic single and double rooms, as well as single rooms in larger four-person apartments (shared kitchen and common area included). The building is located at the corner of Modzelewskiego Street and Wilanowska Avenue, right next to Wilanowska metro station, ensuring convenient access to the most important universities in Warsaw.

This is already the second Student Depot dormitory in Warsaw, following the one on Suwak Street, which opened 4 years ago.

Since March 2022, the company has also been working on its second investment in Łódź - a new building is being constructed on Wróblewskiego Street, right next to the Łódź University of Technology and Zatoka Sportu. From October 2023, students will move into modern single and double rooms with their own bathroom and kitchenette, with Murapol as the general contractor.

Similar to the student residence in Warsaw, the new residents in Łódź will have access to fitness areas, quiet study rooms, multimedia rooms, and a game room. This is another Student Depot investment in Łódź, following the dormitory on Wigury Street, which opened 6 years ago.
