The Dominikański office building, developed in Wrocław by Skanska Property Poland, has been recognized with LEED certification's highest level - Platinum. This is the second office complex in Lower Silesia's capital to “go platinum” in compliance with the most demanding office certification system in Poland. The first complex - Green Towers – was also developed by Skanska. The certification process for Dominikański was supported by Go4Energy. The building is owned by a fund managed by Union Investment Real Estate GmbH based in Hamburg.

Dominikański is Skanska’s fourth office investment in Wrocław. It is located in the very heart of the city and combines modernity with classical architecture. It also includes the baroque Oppersdorfs’ Palace, re-vitalized by Skanska and is LEED Core&Shell “Gold” certified. Dominikański has well-lit space and is equipped with appliances that ensure up to 70% reductions in lighting energy. In addition, the ventilation system provides 30% more fresh air when compared to norms and market standards.

“During the certification process, some of the points that were required and passed in order to obtain the LEED certificate included the building's ability to provide comfortable and healthy working conditions. Its air-conditioning and ventilation parameters were taken into consideration, and for Skanska an acoustic audit was important as well. All these aspects were individually adjusted during the office space finishing works. The LEED certificate granted to Dominikański is a clear indication that our work will not be interrupted by traffic noise and will be led in good temperature and clear air. While leaving the office we will feel as fine as when we entered it. It has become a standard in Skanska’s offices. Green2Day, our newly-launched office building developed at Szczytnicka Street is no different as it will apply for certification,” says Adam Targowski, Sustainable Development Manager at Skanska Property Poland.

Dominikański is the fourth office complex developed in Wrocław by Skanska to become LEED certified and the company's second to be awarded Platinum in this city.
