Robertson Hungary, a provider of real estate services in the field of property acquisition, vendition, leasing, valuation in the sectors of office, retail, hotel, industrial and logistics, announced that it is acquiring BNP Paribas Real Estate Hungary, a company specializing in property, project and financial management services in the Hungarian real estate market, to strengthen its position and broaden its business activities. The purchase of BNP Paribas Real Estate Hungary, based in Budapest, further increases Robertson Hungary’s share in the real estate market.

“We are the alliance members of BNP Paribas Real Estate from 2013, since then we have been working on possible closer cooperation for which the acquisition provides an excellent foundation. I am confident that the joint work of the two companies under the same ownership will give us the possibility to take advantage of the shared synergies between the two entities and we will be able to provide a wider range of services to our customers on both the end-user and investor side,” said Mr. Róbert Tilki, Managing Director of Robertson Hungary.

Robertson remains a part of the BNP Paribas Real Estate’s worldwide network in the future, using the existing brand recognition and experience to provide comprehensive, modern technologies that guarantee proactive, reliable and professional services to its clients.

“Robertson Hungary, as a historical alliance network partner and one of the leading companies in the real estate sector in Hungary, will enable BNP Paribas Real Estate to continue to serve more extensively its existing local and European clients and offer the full range of real estate services to its future prospects in Hungary,” said Mr. Csongor Csukás, Deputy Head of International Property Management at BNP Paribas Real Estate.

“Thanks to the partnership, our service portfolio can be expanded with activities such as Property Management, Project Management, Financial Management and Due Diligence – and these are just some examples from the total,” added Mr. Róbert Tilki.

BNP Paribas Real Estate Hungary, which will be renamed Robertson Property Management Zrt. is now a wholly-owned company of Robertson Hungary Kft. Robertson Hungary is the sole or joint agent on approximately 200,000 sqm office space, while BNP Paribas Real Estate Hungary is currently managing over 260,000 sqm of office, retail and logistic portfolio in Budapest and secondary cities in Hungary. The two Robertson companies will operate separately in two headquarters in Budapest, but as a whole to cover the entire property lifecycle.
