Trei opens another three Vendo Parks in Poland

Trei Real Estate GmbH, an international developer and asset holder for residential and retail real estate, just opened another three retail parks of the Vendo Park brand in Poland. The properties are located in Otwock (Masovian voivodeship), Skarżysko-Kamienna (Świętokrzyskie voivodeship) and in Chorzów (Silesian voivodeship). The investment volume adds up to c. €28.4 million.

Share of e-commerce in retail reaches 15% in CEE

The boundary between online and offline shopping is becoming increasingly vague. There is an evident retail trade trend toward the omnichannel, i.e. combining various sales channels tailored to the consumer's individual needs. This requires the development of e-commerce which has significantly accelerated recently. In the last 5 years, the share of online sales in Central and Eastern Europe grew by 9 pps to 15%, and in 4 years' time is bound to amount to 20%, according to CBRE's forecasts. Poland and Czechia are leaders in terms of online shopping growth in the region. E-commerce's market share in these countries in 2026 may be as high as almost a quarter.

Scallier introduces new retail project in Opole

The new facility will be built on the basis of the former Galeria Ozimska, the largest tenant of which was a Tesco hypermarket. In the new facility, 18,000 sqm of leasable area (GLA), a shopping arcade will be built, which will be accompanied by a classic retail park. Scallier was jointly responsible for the project acquisition and the preparation of the commercialization concept. Currently, it supervises the commercialisation and manages the facility. The design stage is underway and preparations for the redevelopment of the complex are underway. The opening of Ozimska Park is planned for August 2023.

Second stage of Brno retail park is complete

Czech construction company HSF System completed the construction of the second part of the retail park H-Park 2 in Brno as the general contractor. The investor was RLRE Carina Property. The financial volume of the project was approximately CZK 70 million (€2.8 million).

  • TriGranit has finalized a lease extension with Mondelez Europe Services to remain in the Signum Work Station building through 2032. Facilitated by broker CBRE, the agreement secures nearly 4,000 sqm of office surface for the global snacks group member within Warsaw’s Mokotów district.
  • Vastint Romania secured its first tenant for Bucharest-based Timpuri Noi Square Phase 2, signing SCOR for 3,250 sqm. The transaction, brokered by CBRE, facilitates SCOR’s expansion within Vastint’s local portfolio. The company has previously leased 2,320 sqm in Business Garden Bucharest.
  • EVO Properties has named Alexandru Marin as the new Property Manager for the London and Oslo office buildings in Bucharest. He brings over 15 years of property management experience.

New appointments

  • Katarzyna Myjak has joined Axi Immo as Senior Business Advisory Manager, tasked with strengthening the company’s Industrial & Logistics business line.
  • Czech investment group SCF has expanded its team by appointing Jan Simandl as Senior Leasing Team Leader. In this role, Simandl will oversee leasing activities across the company’s commercial property portfolio. He previously worked for CPI Property Group and CBRE.
  • Michał Kochanowski-Laren has joined Avison Young Poland’s Technical Advisory and Project Management team as Project Manager. In his new role, he is responsible for delivering a variety of consultancy projects across all segments of the commercial real estate market in Poland. Kochanowski-Laren is an electrical engineer and a graduate of the Warsaw University of Technology.
