Irish fashion retailer Primark will open a new store in AFI Cotroceni, the shopping mall owned by AFI Europe in Bucharest. 

Mitiska REIM, the specialist investor in European convenience real estate, has today announced the opening of a new retail park in the city of Puławy in eastern Poland. Originally a Tesco hypermarket, the site has now been transformed into a modern food-anchored retail park, designed to achieve a “Very Good” score on the BREEAM scale.

OTP Bank Romania has granted €8 million in financing to Polish developer Scallier, for the construction of Funshop Park Turda.  

Developer J&T Real Estate CZ will build a new business zone with a city park in Hradec Králové near the D11 motorway. Thirty shops and a hobby market will be located in an area of more than 40 hectares. The total investment in the project will be around CZK 3 billion.

Sierra Balmain has been appointed by Stage Capital to provide property management and leasing services for three shopping centres in Poland: Galeria nad Jeziorem in Konin, Pasaż Łódzki in Łódź and CH Osowa in Gdańsk. The agreements include all aspects related to the management of each location, including, operational management, property-related finance matters, lease management, leasing and marketing. Most customers no longer visited shopping centres for traditional shopping purposes only, a non-representative survey conducted by Indotek Group revealed.

More than ten thousand Ukrainian refugees have already applied for help at the Temporary Support Centre for Refugees (TOWU) in Turawa Park  (Opole, Poland). Just a few days ago TOWU signed a Memorandum of Cooperation with the Polish branch of the Red Cross.

Romania’s modern retail stock reached 4.02 million sqm at the end of the first quarter, with the new supply expanding by 19,500 sqm, according to a report by real estate consultancy CBRE. 

Globalworth has entered into an agreement with Żabka for a number of Żabka Nano self-service stores to open in the company's office buildings in 2022. The first stores have already opened in buildings B and D of Quattro Business Park – a modern office complex in Kraków. The openings of Żabka Nano stores in office buildings represents the latest stage in the expansion of the largest chain of self-service stores in Europe, which already amounts to 41 outlets.
