Dm-drogerie markt has signed an agreement to lease new warehouse space in Prologis Park Prague-D1 Ostředek. The new dm distribution centre will cover an area of 21,000 sqm and will also include offices.

The building meets dm's specific storage and distribution requirements and offers advanced sustainable solutions. These include, for example, the use of heat pumps, intelligent LED lighting and readiness for the installation of rooftop solar panels. Thanks to these, it has also achieved international BREEAM accreditation at the Excellent level. According to current plans, dm drogerie markt will move into the new premises in February 2024. The transaction was facilitated by Cushman & Wakefield.

"The premises for dm drogerie markt are equipped with modern solutions that contribute to a more economical and environmentally friendly operation, said Anna Jůzová, Prologis leasing manager for the Czech Republic." According to Robert Bocker, Partner and Head of Industrial Brokerage and Tenant Representation in Cushman & Wakefield's Industrial team, the new distribution centre will bring several other significant benefits for dm drogerie markt.

Prologis Park Prague-D1 Ostředek is a new, but already busy logistics park on the Czech market. It is being built with the latest trends and market demands including energy independence from natural gas. Moreover, the park's location close to the existing dm logistics centres will guarantee the strengthening of the entire distribution network of the chain. Employees at Prologis parks across the country will also have access to special facilities such as outdoor relaxation zones, sports courts, BBQ facilities and more. There are also events for entire park communities regularly - from free health screenings to serving a variety of seasonal refreshments.
