Prima Development Group has acquired a two-hectare plot adjacent to its new residential project Prima Solis, launched this summer. The transaction worth nearly €4 million will allow the expansion of the complex with approximately 700 apartments.

Located near Mega Mall – Delfinului, with access to Doamna Ghica Street, Prima Solis is an urban regeneration project built on the former Antrefrig industrial platform, where a furniture factory previously operated. The complex has easy connections to the city center and is close to major shopping centers and recreation areas including Sfântul Pantelimon, IOR – Alexandru Ioan Cuza, Morarilor and Florilor parks.

The 700 additional apartments will maintain the same quality, sustainability and comfort standards, featuring efficient layouts, natural light, smart home solutions and nZEB (nearly Zero Energy Building) construction. The apartment mix offers studios and two, three or four-room apartments, as well as two-level penthouses, all with generous terraces.

"This expansion consolidates Prima Solis' position as the largest residential project in the area and an urban landmark for eastern Bucharest. We want to create not just modern homes, but also a space where people can live balanced lives, connected to both the city's infrastructure and nature," says Adrian Stoichină, co-CEO Prima Development Group.

Work on Prima Solis began in July, initially developed on 37,000 sqm, and following the new acquisition will reach 57,000 sqm, accommodating nearly 1,700 apartments. The first phase will be completed in summer 2027, according to the developer's estimates. The project includes over 1,000 parking spaces, 60 electric vehicle charging stations, two playgrounds, more than 500 storage units, and approximately 2,500 sqm of commercial and service spaces.
