KAN sp. z o.o. takes 10,150 sqm at Central European Logistics Hub in Łódź

The Polish company KAN sp. z o.o., owner of the Tatuum fashion label is establishing its central warehouse at Panattoni’s Central European Logistics Hub. The enterprise has leased 10,150 sqm (approx. 450 sqm of office space) and is set to move in there by mid-August. From Central European Logistics Hub, the brand will be delivering its products to more than a hundred salons in Poland and Europe, as well as fulfilling orders from the online store. The company’s presence at the Panattoni park near Łódź is related to the consolidation of the existing warehouse space, aimed at achieving economies of scale and facilitating logistics processes. It is also part of the wide-scale implementation of Tatuum’s international expansion plans and a step forward in the growth of e-commerce.

“Efficient logistics and supply operations are crucial in the fashion industry, and necessary for the implementation of our vision to develop our network internationally and through e-commerce, but most of all to fulfil the expectations of our customers,” says Tomasz Pawluk, Tatuum CEO.

Panattoni Central European Logistics Hub is being delivered by Panattoni as Europe’s largest logistics complex with a planned space of 600,000 sqm. The site is located at ul. Jędrzejowska in Łódź, right next to the A1 – the only Polish motorway running north-south. The hub is just 30 km away from the Łódź Północ junction, where the A1 and A2 motorways intersect. At present, the construction of the Central European Logistics Hub exceeded the halfway mark. To date, 370,000 sqm has been completed and a further 40,000 sqm are under development. Businesses which have already decided to come to the Hub to grow include BSH Sprzęt Gospodarstwa Domowego, Media Expert and SMYK. The Hub drives the development of the New Industrial District of Łódź, with a prospect of 7,000 new jobs.

Omega Pilzno takes 14,000 sqm in Panattoni Park Tricity East III

Omega Pilzno is expanding and relocating its Tricity warehouse through a lease of more than 14,000 sqm of warehouse space in Panattoni Park Tricity East III, the construction of which commenced in early May. The lease signed in Panattoni Park Tricity East III will bring the total warehouse stock of Omega Pilzno across Poland to almost 120,000 sqm. The tenant was advised in the transaction by Savills.

“Tricity is becoming an increasingly attractive location for the logistics sector. At the end of the first quarter of 2020, it had approximately 671,500 sqm of modern warehouse and industrial space. Omega Pilzno signed a long lease that confirms their long-term plans for growth in Tricity, which reflects the growing significance of this region on Poland’s logistics map. Consequently, northern Poland is likely to attract soon more companies wanting to take advantage of this location’s strengths such as access to a seaport,” says Maciej Gierak, Business Development Manager, Industrial Agency, Savills.

Panattoni Gdańsk East III is a modern logistics park with an area of close to 33,000 sqm. It is located approximately 4 km from the seaport in Gdansk, providing easy access to the container terminal. It is also close to the Błonie interchange of the Sucharskiego Route, running from DCT Gdansk (Deepwater Container Terminal) to the southern ring road and the A1 motorway. Panattoni Park Tricity East III is scheduled for completion in Q1 2021.

“Omega Pilzno’s facility is a high-bay storage warehouse with certain modifications tailored to the tenant’s needs. We also provided Omega Pilzno with an option to expand in the future to accommodate the tenant’s rapid growth in the Tricity region. As a warehouse developer, we have also recognised the enormous potential of Pomerania and are planning to increase our warehouse stock in the region to around 470,000 sqm by the end of 2020,” says Martyna Sochaczewska, Leasing Manager at Panattoni.

The carbon cost is already in your building. You just can't see it yet

by Property Forum
A structural shift is rewriting the financial logic of European commercial real estate. It isn't being driven by ESG pressure or voluntary sustainability labels. It's being driven by regulation — and the numbers are concrete enough that ignoring them is becoming a financial risk. A recent white paper by workcloud24 traces the mechanism in detail: how the operational energy and CO₂ performance of a building transmits into net operating income, asset value, and financing conditions. The argument isn't that green buildings are virtuous. It's that inefficient buildings are becoming measurably more expensive to own, operate, and finance.
