International developer Panattoni has reached a milestone on the Czech market by surpassing 2 million sqm of built modern industrial space. The company crossed the two-million threshold with the completion of a building in Panattoni Business Park Cheb, featuring a record floor area of 214,000 sqm, which was handed over to tenants in February 2026.
Panattoni has been operating in the Czech market since 2007 and has become one of the most active players in Czech industrial development.
"We build business spaces in the Czech Republic, creating infrastructure that generates income for public budgets. Based on a KPMG study on tax allocation, this represents direct contributions exceeding €8 billion over the lifetime of the properties without multiplier effects," says Pavel Sovička, managing director of Panattoni for Czech Republic and Slovakia.
The company has completed 2.13 million sqm of building space, with an additional 200,000 sqm under construction. Panattoni has achieved Breeam New Construction certification for 1.4 million sqm, including 513,000 sqm with the highest Breeam Outstanding rating.
The developer has also recultivated 1.1 million sqm of brownfield sites as part of its development activities in the Czech Republic.
