P3 is to develop an 82,500 sqm facility with an additional 27,000 sqm expansion option for furniture e-commerce specialist Westwing in P3 Poznań.

The project, which will comprise 79,000 sqm of warehousing space and 3,500 sqm of offices and social premises, will be the largest warehouse so far in Westwing’s distribution network as well as its centre of excellence for furniture order processing and shipping to European markets. There will also be parking for 288 vehicles and a bike park. The facility will initially provide jobs for over 200 people and for up to 1,000 employees in the future.

"The cooperation with Westwing and its decision to base its largest warehouse in P3 Poznań park is a great honour for us. We are proud to be building a facility for the European leader in inspiration-based home and living e-commerce. The growing numbers of on-line transactions and the rapid development of the e-commerce sector have been increasing the complexity of logistics processes, for which retail chains pursuing their e-commerce activities must be properly prepared. A flagship warehouse of an appropriate size, in a convenient location, will allow our partner to intensify its operational processes and will surely provide more business development opportunities", said Bartłomiej Hofman, the managing director of P3 Logistic Parks Poland.

P3 Poznań Park is one of the largest logistics parks in the Wielkopolska province, with more than 390,000 sqm of space. Its main tenants are PF Logo Express, Zaparoh, CEVA Logistics, British American Tobacco, Clipper Logistics and Colian Logistic. The complex is situated in Robakowo, 16 km southeast of Poznań city centre and 2.4 km from the S11 express road.
