Nhood has completed the sale of eight retail shopping centres in Poland on behalf of Ceetrus and Auchan to Adventum Group for an undisclosed sum.

Acting as strategic advisor, Nhood coordinated the entire sale process for the co-owned properties. The company also managed cooperation between the co-owners Ceetrus and Auchan throughout the transaction.

"Thanks to our understanding of the commercial real estate market and our cooperation with Ceetrus and Auchan, we were able to structure and carry out the sales process in a way that fully met investor expectations," says Ada Walentek from Nhood. The transaction was completed quickly and professionally in line with market practices.

The sale aligns with Ceetrus's asset management strategy, which aims to transform its property portfolio by prioritising investments in assets with high commercial and social value. "This transaction marks an important milestone in the execution of our strategy in Poland. By reallocating capital to our assets, we are reinforcing our market positioning and unlocking new development opportunities," said Raluca Crișan, Portfolio Director at Ceetrus.

The buyer, Adventum Penta Fund SCA SICAV RAIF based in Luxembourg, is part of the Hungarian Adventum Group which specialises in investment fund management focused on commercial real estate across CEE. Funds managed by Adventum Group currently own more than 700,000 sqm of commercial and office space across Poland, Slovakia, Czech Republic, Hungary and Romania. The Polish Office of Competition and Consumer Protection granted approval for the acquisition on 19 December 2025.

Optimism prevails in CEE real estate as geopolitical risk looms large

by Property Forum
CEE's real estate market enters the second quarter of 2026 in a mood of measured confidence. According to Property Forum's survey of nearly 200 real estate professionals from across the region, the majority expect either stable but selective deal flow or a moderate recovery in transaction activity over the next 12 months. Regional CEE investors are seen as the primary engine of dealmaking, while foreign capital is expected to return only selectively. Residential and logistics assets lead on risk-adjusted appeal, and Poland remains the undisputed long-term growth leader. Yet beneath the cautious optimism, one concern towers above all others: geopolitical tensions, cited by nearly two-thirds of respondents as the greatest threat to the market.
