NEPI Rockcastle, the biggest owner of shopping malls in Romania, has donated a boulevard to Craiova municipality. The road was completed following an investment of €10 million and will streamline traffic around the Promenada Craiova retail project, which will open on October 5.

Aside from the road, the infrastructure project also includes a land plot of 7,000 sqm that has become a green area.

"We believe very much in the potential of Craiova, which is already an important regional centre and we believe it can become one of the main business hubs of the country," said Andrei Radu, NEPI Rockcastle’s Development Director.

The construction works for the infrastructure project took 18 months.

NEPI Rockcastle has 59 projects in CEE, of which 25 are located in Romania.
