The company managing a food supermarket chain has leased additional 11,300 sqm, doubling the warehouse space used in MLP Lublin. The additional space is slated for delivery at the end of April 2019.


Stokrotka Sp. z o.o., the retail division of the Emperia Group, has signed an agreement with MLP Group to enlarge the amount of modern space it leases in the MLP Lublin logistics park by another 11,300 sqm. In this facility, approximately 350 sqm will be earmarked for staff rooms and offices. The requested space is slated for delivery at the end of April 2019.
 
Stokrotka has been MLP Group’s client for about three years. It moved into the MLP Lublin logistics park at the end of 2015. Initially, it used approx. 6,000 sqm of warehouse and office space. Two years later, it increased the leased space to approximately 11,900 sqm. After the planned delivery of the additional facilities, the space used by the retail chain will double in size to approximately 23,200 sqm.
 
The Stokrotka retail chain currently operates over 500 supermarkets and markets located in housing estates, mini-malls and shopping centres throughout Poland. More stores are in the pipeline.
 
MLP Lublin is a light industrial park under construction and when completed shall comprise of about 45,000 sqm of warehouse and light industrial buildings.
