The Nové Centrum Ružinova project by MiddleCap has been developed as a mixed-use complex on the plot with an unfinished concrete skeleton on Tomášikova Street in Bratislava. The infamous development, nicknamed Hiroshima by Bratislava residents, is now moving ahead in permitting, reports sme.sk.
The MiddleCap Group was formed by merging the holding company of businessman Miroslav Výboh with the consulting company MiddleCap Equity Partners and has several real estate projects under its belt.
The developer has currently obtained a zoning decision for the project. It should create 198 apartments and another 194 non-residential premises, which are designated as offices. The developer also plans to offer penthouses. Buildings will have four to ten floors. The complex is to include smaller retail units and non-residential premises and is designed for 1,452 residents.
It is unclear when the developer could start construction work. Since the project is being approved under the old Building Act, the developer will still apply for a building permit.
