Logistics company HAVI has leased 10,000 sqm of space to operate a logistics centre for storage and distribution of frozen and chilled products for its clients in Panattoni Business Park Kladno, which is being developed on the brownfield site of the former Poldi Kladno steelworks.

The new industrial zone will help revive the region's industrial tradition and bring new jobs and sustainable technologies. Panattoni is the developer, while RSJ Group is the investor.

By opening the new facility, the company has expanded its storage capacity and created space for more efficient distribution and implementation of sustainable solutions.

"This new distribution centre represents a significant milestone in HAVI's further development and strengthening of our logistics network throughout the region. It also confirms our long-term commitment to sustainable business and creating a modern, safe and quality working environment," says František Houška, General Director of HAVI Logistics for the Czech Republic and Slovakia.

Panattoni Business Park Kladno is a modern industrial zone designed for manufacturing and logistics that meets the highest technological and environmental standards. The park will consist of two halls with a total floor area of 88,500 sqm. HAVI has leased space in Hall B, which has a total area of 32,900 sqm. The building aspires to achieve the Excellent rating under the international Breeam New Construction sustainability certification.

The location offers excellent transport infrastructure connections. It is situated 30 km from Prague, 100 km from Plzeň and Karlovy Vary, and 140 km from Dresden. The proximity of the D5, D6 and D7 motorways ensures fast and efficient connections not only with the rest of the Czech Republic, but also with Western Europe.

The carbon cost is already in your building. You just can't see it yet

by Property Forum
A structural shift is rewriting the financial logic of European commercial real estate. It isn't being driven by ESG pressure or voluntary sustainability labels. It's being driven by regulation — and the numbers are concrete enough that ignoring them is becoming a financial risk. A recent white paper by workcloud24 traces the mechanism in detail: how the operational energy and CO₂ performance of a building transmits into net operating income, asset value, and financing conditions. The argument isn't that green buildings are virtuous. It's that inefficient buildings are becoming measurably more expensive to own, operate, and finance.
