Digital hospitality platform Numa Group and GTC have announced their launch in Hungary with a flagship property in central Budapest.
The new property is located at Klauzál utca 8-10, in the center of Budapest’s Erzsébetváros district.
This project marks GTC’s first investment in the hospitality real estate sector. Numa Group already owns five properties in Prague and three in Vienna.
Housed in a 19th-century building, the new Numa Budapest property will be fully renovated to seamlessly blend its historic charm with contemporary design and Numa’s proprietary tech-stack.
“Entering the hospitality sector will strengthen our portfolio with high-performing, resilient assets that respond to evolving market demands,” says Gyula Nagy, CEO of GTC.
Dimitri Chandogin, President and Co-founder of Numa Group, added: “Budapest is a highlight for European tourism, attracting the lion's share of Hungary's international visitors and ranking among the continent's most attractive destinations. Almost 60 per cent of Hungary's international tourist traffic passes through the city, which is already one of the top 15 European tourist destinations.”
Numa operates more than 8,000 units in European A-cities, including Berlin, Munich, Rome, Milan, Madrid, Barcelona and Vienna.
GTC Group manages a commercial real estate portfolio of 46 commercial buildings providing around 755,000 sqm of lettable office and retail space in Poland, Budapest, Bucharest, Belgrade, Zagreb and Sofia.
