Property investor Globalworth has purchased a small business units logistics project previously developed by CATTED in Chitila, near Bucharest. Furthermore, the two companies will acquire a land plot of around 45,000 sqm in Ștefănești for a new logistics investment.

Globalworth said the acquisition marks its entry on the niche of flexible logistics projects that target smaller firms.

”Having added to our portfolio also small business units, we will be able to offer a full range of modern spaces adapted to the needs of the companies operating in Romania, which is one of our main goals,” said Mihai Zaharia, Globalworth Romania Head of Investments and Globalworth Group Capital Markets Director.

Business Park Ștefănești will include three industrial facilities with a total leasable area of 18,000 sqm, while Business Park Chitila has 13 buildings with a total leasable area of 7,000 sqm.

At the end of 2021, Globalworth Industrial’s portfolio comprised 261,000 sqm with an occupancy rate of 95%.
