Fiege Szállítmányozási és Logisztikai Kft. has signed a lease for an additional 33,000 sqm at Panattoni Park Moson in Hungary, bringing its total commitment to approximately 51,000 sqm across two buildings. The German logistics company had previously pre-let 18,000 sqm and has now secured the remaining 10,000 sqm of the first building, plus a full second warehouse.
The two warehouses are being developed near the Austrian-Hungarian-Slovakian border, directly adjacent to the M1 motorway. The first building is scheduled for completion in spring 2026, with the second due in the third quarter of 2026, allowing Fiege to expand its Hungarian capacities in phases.
"With this expansion, we have placed our vote of confidence in Panattoni Park Moson. The strategic location, modern infrastructure and sustainability-focused approach of this logistics hub fit with our long-term objectives," said Gergely Hepp, Managing Director of the Fiege Group's SEE region.
László Kemenes, Managing Director of Panattoni Hungary, said the expansion confirms the company's strategy of building developments in prime locations. "The pre-let success in Mosonmagyaróvár is based on a business relationship with Fiege that has been in place for many years," he added.
Panattoni Park Moson aims to achieve BREEAM "Excellent" certification and will feature one of Hungary's first dedicated electric truck parking and charging facilities. The development is Panattoni Hungary's fifth project and is being carried out within the Recorde Panattoni RPM real estate funds, managed by Recorde Alapkezelő.
