Panattoni and Fiege are expanding their partnership in western Poland through new agreements covering lease extensions and expansions at three sites: Panattoni Park Goleńiów I, Panattoni Park Zielona Góra I and Panattoni Park Gorzów I. The total additional space leased by Fiege amounts to nearly 21,000 sqm.

The first contract involves Fiege leasing an additional 10,000 sqm of logistics space at Panattoni Park Goleńiów I. Following this expansion, the tenant now occupies approximately 26,000 sqm at the site. The new space is intended for an existing partner specialising in e-commerce. The decision was driven by the facility's functionality and ability to flexibly adapt space to changing operational needs.

"The decision to extend the lease and expand at Panattoni Park Goleńiów I was a natural step for us – we have been operating a warehousing business in the region for over a decade," says Tomasz Przybyła, Sales and Marketing Director at Fiege. "The proximity to the German border, well-developed infrastructure and access to a skilled workforce mean that Western Poland offers conditions for the further development of our company."

Fiege is expanding its operations at Panattoni Park Zielona Góra I, increasing its occupied space by nearly 6,700 sqm to a total of over 11,000 sqm. This expansion is linked to a partnership with a company in the fashion industry, with the logistics operator using the new space to handle returns. At Panattoni Park Gorzów I, the additional space amounts to over 4,000 sqm, meaning Fiege will occupy over 27,000 sqm at the facility to serve a client from the non-food discount sector.

"Fiege is our long-standing partner, with whom we are expanding our collaboration across numerous locations in Poland," says Dorota Jagodzińska-Sasson, Managing Director at Panattoni. "The agreements underscore how important it is for logistics operators to be able to scale their space flexibly within existing parks." In February, Panattoni signed a lease agreement with Fiege for over 42,000 sqm of space in the under-construction Panattoni Park Katowice Airport.

Optimism prevails in CEE real estate as geopolitical risk looms large

by Property Forum
CEE's real estate market enters the second quarter of 2026 in a mood of measured confidence. According to Property Forum's survey of nearly 200 real estate professionals from across the region, the majority expect either stable but selective deal flow or a moderate recovery in transaction activity over the next 12 months. Regional CEE investors are seen as the primary engine of dealmaking, while foreign capital is expected to return only selectively. Residential and logistics assets lead on risk-adjusted appeal, and Poland remains the undisputed long-term growth leader. Yet beneath the cautious optimism, one concern towers above all others: geopolitical tensions, cited by nearly two-thirds of respondents as the greatest threat to the market.
