This year´s central topic at Prague Property Forum will be the digital transformation effectively changing the real estate market. The event, which will be held for the second time in Prague, is organised by Property Forum in close cooperation with RICS. The conference has attracted highly respected speakers from the Czech as well as European property markets, some of them being present in Prague for the first time.

“For Property Forums in 2018 we have decided to focus on technology and innovation as they are rapidly changing the real estate game. Digitalisation has affected the entire property development cycle starting with the early design, project management, leasing, sale process and long-term asset management. But its not only about newly-built schemes, existing properties can also adopt many of these innovations. I am delighted that representatives of companies that have prepared and have been using such digital solutions had accepted our invitation to share their experience with us,” said Csanad Csüros, CEO of Property Forum.

The programme of Prague Property Forum is split into three parts. The first one is dedicated to macroeconomic predictions for Europe and focuses on Central Europe as an investment destination. An individual panel will describe the current situation on the Czech property investment market. The second part of the conference will be highlighted by the presentation of global proptech guru James Dearsley. Individual panels will provide a detailed look at the retail and logistics markets, in addition to alternative investments such as student housing. The third part, called The Future of Real Estate, deals with the latest technologies in commercial real estate, with special regards to their design, construction and market valuation.

"RICS is committed to helping members to not only continually update their skills and knowledge in order to remain professionally competent but also to share international best practices and novelties and this year we will welcome the first female Chair of RICS Europe, Tina Paillet FRICS, Director of Projects and Technology at Generali Real Estate in Prague. Our long-standing cooperation with Property Forum creates the perfect cross-border platform for professionals to meet the new demands of the changing real estate profession. Our internationally acclaimed speakers share important market insights and industry trends and to mark RICS' global partnership with IFMA, I am happy to announce Lara Paemen, Director of IFMA, as one of our keynote speakers," added Anna Orcsik, who is leading the Central & Eastern European operation of RICS.

Prague Property Forum is going to take place on 29th May 2018 from 9:00 to 15:30 in the Corinthia hotel in Prague-Vyšehrad. Organisers expect 30 speakers and approx. 200 participants in total. The event takes place for the tenth time in CEE and for the second time in Prague.
