Diófa Asset Management has appointed Roland Bogár as its new Real Estate Investment Director, the company said in a press release. Bogár has nearly 15 years of real estate experience, during which time he has taken part in numerous property deals in Hungary and in the CEE region. He will now play an active role in coordinating activities related to Diófa's real estate portfolio and in setting the direction of the company's property strategy.

As of May 2021, Roland Bogár joined Diófa Asset Management as Real Estate Investment Director. He will be responsible for overseeing the transaction, asset management, fund management and leasing activity of the real estate business line of the company. Bogár, who was previously Head of Transaction Management at Indotek Group, will also play a key role in shaping the future activities of Diófa, in particular its property strategy.

Bogár has 13 years of industry experience and has taken part in property deals worth nearly €1.5 billion combined during this time, both in Hungary and in the CEE region. He graduated from the International Business School in corporate finance and took his first job at CIB Bank's corporate finance division.  His real estate career began in 2008 in the Budapest office of Colliers International, where he worked in leasing and selling industrial and logistics properties and development plots, before moving on to investment properties. He joined the Indotek Group in 2016 as Head of Transaction Management, contributing to the group's institutional investments and international business development activities.

"As real estate investment director, my primary goal is to continue to deliver outstanding and stable returns to the investors of Diófa Asset Management," Roland Bogár said. "I hope the skills acquired in the property market and the know-how of the Diófa investment team will make a strong contribution to its continued dynamic growth," he added.
