Three Czech CPI Property Group (CPIPG) buildings that recently became part of the group portfolio were awarded LEED international environmental certification. Savills carried out the certification of all three buildings and supported the client in all aspects of the process, CPI PG announced.

The buildings Na Příkopě, myhive Jungmannova and myhive Jindřišská in Prague have successfully obtained the international environmental certification LEED v4.1 in the category EB:OM (Existing Building: Operations and Maintenance). The properties recently became part of the portfolio of CPI Property Group, which acquired the buildings by taking over the majority share of Immofinanz this year.

The buildings myhive Jungmannova and myhive Jindřišská have been awarded LEED Gold certification, while the Na Příkopě building has achieved the highest certification - LEED Platinum. Savills carried out the certification of all three buildings and supported the client in all aspects of the process.

Jan Jurčíček, Head of BPC at Savills Czech Republic and Slovakia, comments. "I am very pleased that CPI / Immofinanz have trusted us to build on our LEED property management services with a certification that helps to meet the client's ESG strategy goals. This project is a testament to the synergies between the various services provided by Savills, which primarily saves clients time and money."

Barbora Jansová, ESG Consultant & Project Manager at Savills Czech Republic and Slovakia, says: "The most significant achievement is obtaining Platinum level certification for the Na Příkopě building. The requirements to meet the highest level of certification are continuously getting stricter to reflect current developments and increasing demands on the overall sustainability of the commercial real estate market. This, combined with the fact that it is a historic building, makes it an exceptional project for the Prague market."

David Votřel, Head of Offices Asset Management at CPI Property Group, comments: "As a long-term investor and asset manager, we make sure that our buildings meet the highest standards of sustainability while coming up with various ways to achieve lower energy costs."

Štefan Stulančák, Asset Manager at CPI Property Group, adds: "We are proud that our portfolio includes properties that have been certified as environmentally and socially responsible, which is very important to us as an organisation and we are pleased to be able to offer our clients high standards of building quality, indoor environment, low costs, as well as good accessibility."
