JLL has successfully rented out the Albatros Business Centre in Prague 1. Almost 3,500 sqm of space on Národní třída will be occupied from spring 2019 by Spaces, a global coworking giant of Dutch origin, which will become a major tenant of the building next to Česká spořitelna. This opening of the first branch in the Czech Republic indicates a growing interest in this type of office.

"In the case of flexible spaces, the most important factor is the location and range of services in the neighbourhood. Prague 1 is a logical choice in this respect and, with the opening of Spaces, it will further strengthen its dominant position in popularity between these operators," said Martin Stričko, Senior Research Analyst at JLL.

After Romania and Poland, the Czech Republic is now the third country within the CEE region where Spaces will open its branch. More than 3,000 office centres are now operating in 120 countries worldwide making it one of the world's largest operator of this kind of service.

"I personally believe that the Spaces concept will be among the best of all emerging centres in the heart of Prague, as it is in other countries of the world. The Albatros BC building also acquired a majority and stable tenant. We were delighted to cooperate in this transaction," mentioned Marta Kadlecová, Associate Director at JLL’s Tenant Representation department.

Coworking centres have a wide range of use, and thanks to Spaces long-term experience, perfect location, deep know-how and a professional and quiet work environment, Spaces offer to its clients a five-star service
