Marek Pohl assumed the role of Head of the Valuation Department at BNP Paribas Real Estate in Prague, thus obtaining a promotion from the position of Senior Property Valuer.


In his role of Head of the Valuation Department Marek will be responsible for coordination of property valuations across all market sectors for loan purposes, internal analysis and transaction purposes, as well as comprehensive asset valuations and property advisory for BNP Paribas Real Estate clients in the Czech Republic and Slovakia
 
“This appointment follows from the continuous expansion of the Valuation Department in the Czech Republic. Marek is a best-in-class professional, and his promotion means that we will now be able to apply even more focus onto implementing our growth strategy for this particular business line,” said Stewart Thomson, Country Head for Czech Republic, BNP Paribas Real Estate Czech Republic, who will speak at the upcoming Prague Property Forum 2018.
 
Marek has been active on the commercial real estate market for more than 8 years, and he specializes in property valuations across all market sectors. The new department head at BNP Paribas Real Estate CR has carried out more than 100 property valuations for banks, developers and investors last year, which included ongoing property performance monitoring.
 
Marek is a civil engineering graduate from Czech Technical University in Prague. He has been with BNP Paribas Real Estate since 2016.

  • IAG GBS Poland, the shared services arm of the International Airlines Group (IAG), has finalised a lease renewal for 2,246 sqm of office space within the O3 Business Campus in Krakow. The decision to remain in the current location followed a comprehensive market analysis and workplace audit conducted by Savills.

  • American retailer GAP entered the Romanian market at Fashion House Militari, followed by the launch of an Italian Stefanel store at Fashion House Pallady, with a further Stefanel location scheduled to open shortly in Militari.

New appointments

  • Avison Young has strengthened its Polish leadership with three senior promotions. Patryk Błach ascends to Associate Director within the Investment Advisory Department. Kamil Głowienka has been named Senior Project Manager. Furthermore, Katarzyna Uzar becomes a Valuation and Innovation Specialist, tasked with integrating technological solutions and coordinating global departmental projects.
  • Katarzyna Myjak has joined Axi Immo as Senior Business Advisory Manager, tasked with strengthening the company’s Industrial & Logistics business line.
  • Czech investment group SCF has expanded its team by appointing Jan Simandl as Senior Leasing Team Leader. In this role, Simandl will oversee leasing activities across the company’s commercial property portfolio. He previously worked for CPI Property Group and CBRE.
