Romanian lender Banca Transilvania has leased 10,000 sqm of office space in Green Court A, the building in northern Bucharest owned by Globalworth.


The bank will occupy six floors of the building that is LEED Gold certified.

“This significant leasing contract marks another key moment for us and the Romanian office real estate market this year,” said Ema Iftimie, Head of Leasing at Globalworth Romania.

Globalworth is the biggest owner of office buildings in Romania. At group level, it recorded a combined portfolio value of €3.2 billion at the end of 2022. Around 96.4% of the portfolio is in income-producing assets, predominately in the office sector, and leased to a diversified array of over 690 national and multinational corporates.
