7R has won a tender to purchase 20 ha of land in the Pomeranian Logistics Centre. On the plot, the developer will build the 7R Park Gdańsk Port complex, with a total area of approx. 123,000 sqm. The land property is located in the immediate vicinity of the Port of Gdańsk, and the largest deepwater terminal in the Baltic Sea – DCT Gdańsk.

The acquisition of the 20-hectare plot in the Pomeranian Logistics Centre is a breakthrough for 7R in its efforts to strengthen the network of logistics and industrial parks in the north of the country. DCT Gdańsk is the fastest growing Polish container terminal and the only deepwater terminal in the Baltic Sea region. Ships from all over the world, including the Far East, call here. In this strategic location for sea transport, the developer plans to build modern class A warehousing and manufacturing facilities, in which the company will apply PropTech solutions. 7R will also focus on minimizing the impact of the planned facilities on the natural environment.

"We wanted to build a logistics park near the largest and fastest-growing Polish container terminal. Thanks to this, we will extend our portfolio with a specialist project, adapted to shipping activities around the port and related to the maritime economy. It is worth noting that this conveniently located and well-connected area is also perfectly suited to the needs of the logistics, warehousing and light industry sectors. We are convinced that such a complex as 7R Park Gdańsk Port is essential for the future development of Gdańsk’s maritime transport," says Ryszard Gretkowski, Vice President of 7R.

The project is at an early stage of design and planning

7R started its development activity in Pomerania in 2008. The projects completed in this region include 7R Park Gdańsk I, 7R Park Tczew, as well as the last mile logistics urban warehouse, 7R City Flex Gdańsk Airport. There are other projects at various stages of the investment process, including 7R Park Gdańsk II, 7R City Flex Gdańsk and 7R City Flex Gdynia.
