The property developer has just signed another contract with W.P.I.P. for the expansion of its MLP Poznań West logistics centre in Dąbrówka. Under the new contract, the general contractor is to deliver over 43,000 sqm of modern space. The facilities will be built according to the latest trends in the warehouse property market, meeting the BREEAM certification requirements.

MLP Poznań West in Dąbrówka is a logistics complex launched in 2019, all its existing facilities constructed by the Poznań-based general contractor W.P.I.P. The first facility of 8,800 sqm for InPost, complete with a sorting area and cross-docking warehouse, was placed in service in 2019, followed in 2020 by another one comprising of manufacturing and warehouse space of 12,000 sqm. Currently nearing completion is a third facility with a total area of nearly 8,500 sqm to be equipped with a freezer store containing an advanced fast freezing chamber.

Now, the developer has awarded another contract to W.P.I.P covering two more buildings with an area of over 43,000 sqm. The construction works are due to commence still in July, their completion having been scheduled for the first quarter of 2022.

This is already a seventh project to be carried out by MLP Group jointly with W.P.I.P. In addition to MLP Poznań West, other projects built by the general contractor for the developer include facilities in Gliwice, Mokronos and Koninek. In total, by the end of the first quarter of 2022 W.P.I.P. will have delivered nearly 90,000 sqm of space for MLP Group.

W.P.I.P. is a family business focused on designer and general contractor services for warehouse, manufacturing and office space, including smart buildings. It is also an expert at building and equipping technologically advanced and sustainable industrial facilities with solutions meeting high environmental standards.

MLP Poznań West is a distribution centre conveniently located on the western side of Poznań, at the S11 expressway and only 7 km from the A2 motorway and S11 junction. The centre focuses primarily on e-commerce, logistics, distribution and light industrial production companies. Ultimately, it will offer approximately 133,000 sqm of warehouse and office space.
