Wola Center, the office building in Warsaw acquired by the Hines European Value Fund (HEVF 1) in 2020, and subsequently managed by global real estate firm Hines, has received a BREEAM In-Use Excellent certification.


The 34,930 square meter Wola Center has been recognized for its quality management, the introduction and application of sustainable solutions including high-quality cycling infrastructure, and electromobility and biodiversity activities. The structure, equipment, systems and the way the building is managed were all analyzed, achieving a score of over 70% as rated by BREEAM In-Use.

Aleksandra Niewolska, property manager, Hines Poland said, “At Hines, we emphasize environmentally-conscious activities and sustainable development, which is why the Wola Center’s certification is a significant moment for the team. The excellent certification is a testament to the building’s ecological construction and our efforts in creating spaces with the environment in mind.”

Wola Center is an A-class office building with a total area of 34, 930 square meters located in a well-connected central location at 33 Przyokopowa Street in Warsaw's Wola district, in the direct vicinity of the Daszyńskiego Roundabout and the Warsaw Uprising Museum. The area of one floor in the building covers approx. 4,500 square meters. In addition to the office space, Wola Center also offers retail and service units, a patio of 1,000 square meters with access to free Wi-Fi, green terraces, and extensive infrastructure for cyclists - a car park, stands and changing rooms with showers. Motorists also have a two-story car park with room for 319 cars at their disposal.
