V17, a new office building located at the beginning of the Váci corridor in Budapest has officially opened. The seven-storey sustainable building offers nearly 13,000 square meters Class A office space, most of which is let to E.ON Hungary Zrt. for long term. V17 is owned by Torony Ingatlan Befektetési Alap represented by Diófa Alapkezelő Zrt., and was developed by Hungarian commercial real estate developer WING Zrt. Building V17 required a HUF10 billion investment.


The V17 building is located in district XIII, next to the Lehel market, close to the M3 metro station. Nearly 900 square metres of new green space is formed within the project, and the plumbing and electrical systems are also installed in line with the sustainability requirements. With an intelligent building management systems and energy-saving solutions also installed, V17 graded Very Good in the green certification system BREEAM.

For most of the office space E.ON signed a long-term lease to provide working area for its 600 employees in Budapest. The building gives home for a modern restaurant and a new cafeteria as well.
 
V17 was built by a budget of HUF10 billion according to the architectural design of Aspectus Architect Studio by general contractor Market Zrt. The development was financed by K&H Bank.

  • iO Partners has announced key leadership changes within its Czech Republic operations as part of its ongoing business evolution. Milan Kilik has been appointed as the new Head of Office Leasing, with a particular focus on client advisory and team collaboration. Concurrently, Petr Kareš has transitioned into the role of Occupier Business Development Director. In this new capacity, he will be responsible for identifying new market opportunities and integrating services across Tenant Representation, Project Management, and Industrial Leasing.
  • Romanian office developer Genesis Property has appointed Cătălin Niculiță as Leasing Manager. With nearly 20 years of experience in the real estate industry, he has held leadership roles at real estate companies such as Atenor, collaborating with major office tenants in the banking, telecom, and IT sectors.
