The first ibis Styles hotel, part of the Accor Group, will open in Chișinău this autumn, following a €12 million investment.
The hotel is a key component of the German Village urban concept, developed by Regata Imobiliare, and is strategically positioned on the main route to Chișinău International Airport. The airport has demonstrated significant growth, with a 48.3% increase in passenger traffic in H1 2025, reaching over 2.45 million travelers.
"The opening of ibis Styles Chișinău marks a defining moment in the evolution of tourism in the Republic of Moldova," stated Natalia Dubina, General Manager, ibis Styles Chișinău. "Through this project, we are contributing to the creation of a new hub of economic and touristic appeal, offering guests a hospitality experience that meets international standards in a creative and inclusive space."
The hotel's design, inspired by tennis, will feature 100 contemporary rooms, a modular event center exceeding 200 sqm, a restaurant with a bar and terrace, a fitness area, and 45 parking spaces.
Recent trends underscore the positive outlook for Moldova's tourism, with a 7.5% increase in tourist arrivals in Q1 2025 compared to Q1 2024, and a 23.2% rise in overnight stays.
