UDI Group has obtained a building permit for the second phase of its Urban Park development in the Husovice district of Brno. The phase will deliver nearly 900 new flats, with construction already under way following the demolition of the former industrial site. The estimated investment for this phase stands at CZK 3 billion.
The second phase will be built between Husovická, Mostecká and Svitavská streets. The approved scheme includes two mixed-use buildings, public space improvements, new roads and extensive green planting, as well as collaboration with the municipal district on the revitalisation of an adjacent park. Architectural design was prepared by Brno-based studio Arch.Design.
"Obtaining the building permit for the second phase is an important milestone for the whole project. After completing the demolition we were able to start construction work immediately and continue transforming a long-closed site into a living part of the city. Brno has long faced a shortage of new flats and we believe Urban Park will contribute to expanding the supply of modern housing in an attractive location close to the city centre," said Jakub Malý, COO of UDI Group.
UDI Group is a Czech developer with more than 30 years of experience, operating also in Poland, Hungary, Serbia, Costa Rica and Panama. The combined value of its projects under preparation and in delivery exceeds CZK 60 billion.
