Industrial developer CTP has expanded its partnership with delivery company Cargus following the inauguration of a new warehouse in Sibiu.

A new Mercure hotel comprising 121 rooms has opened in Sibiu, which will operate under a 10-year management contract between Accor and local investor Compa Sibiu.

Hungarian lender OTP Bank has granted a RON 8.9 million lei (€1.8 million) loan to Romanian logistics operator Rara Invest. The company is using the funds for the expansion of its Sura Mica industrial park in Sibiu.

NEPI Rockcastle announced that it will inaugurate Promenada Sibiu on November 14 following an investment of €100 million. The developer will also open a shopping centre in Târgu Mureș in March following an investment of €70 million.

CTPark Sibiu II will receive its first tenants in about two months. The park has a total area of 9 hectares and in the first stage, 13,200 sqm are built-up and pre-leased. At present, only 2,600 sqm are available, the rest of the space is already leased to two companies. Upon completion of all the buildings in the park, the investment in its development will total about €23 million. This is the second investment of CTP in Sibiu after the expansion of a factory completed last year, but it is the first CTP premium logistics park with more tenants in the area.

CTP will develop a new logistics park in Sibiu on an area of 9 hectares with an investment of €23 million.
