EPP published its financial results for the full-year of 2017. During the period, the distributable income was at €76.6 million, exceeding the forecasts. At the same time, the company kept building its strong presence in Poland’s key cities, while EPP-owned properties enjoyed growing footfall and increasing sales. The value of asset portfolio rose by 29%, to €1.95 billion.

According to “Occupier Economics: Office Market in Wrocław in 2017”, a report prepared by Cresa, last year’s office supply in Wrocław was the lowest in six years while occupier demand remained robust. The city’s office take-up hit 174,500 sqm, which represented a 40% increase compared with 2016.

Poland has seen record-breaking absorption on the office market. In the last year alone, companies occupied additional 800,000 sqm of office space. This translates into more than 80,000 additional job positions in modern office buildings, JLL reports.

As at 31 December 2017, Globalworth's combined real estate portfolio was valued at €1,815.4 million, comprising €1,135.3 million in Romania and €680.1 million in Poland via GPRE. Globalworth posted its results for the year 2017.

First Property Group unveiled its development plans at the Krakow Business Park (KBP) in Zabierzow, Krakow, which are focused on improving and repositioning the park to drive visitors and investment to it and the local area. This follows First Property Group’s acquisition of the park’s principal operating companies and the agreement of heads of terms for their refinancing with Pekao Bank SA.

LS Cable, a Korean manufacturing company, has decided to launch its division in Dzierżoniów - in the region of Lower Silesia. The facility will be established within an existing object offering 10,000 sqm. Experts from JLL represented LS Cable in the processes of seeking the appropriate property and negotiating purchase conditions.

Skanska has commenced construction works of the second office building in its Nowy Rynek complex, developed in Poznan in close proximity to both Dworzec Glowny railway station and Poznan's Old Town. Ultimately, the area of 3.8 ha will include buildings with various functions, an urban market which will be open to the public, and other areas that will promote recreation and entertainment.

Savills has consolidated and reorganised some of its business lines in Poland. It has set up an investment hub providing a comprehensive range of advisory services on the commercial real estate investment market through cooperation involving individual departments.

Skanska has sold Nowa Fabryczna building in Łódź, Poland, to real estate fund manager Niam. It is the developer’s second office project in the city, and the seventh Skanska property Niam has acquired in the Polish regional markets since 2015.
