Mendota signs €134 million deal for Emonika tower construction
Mendota Invest, member of the OTP Group and investor behind the Emonika development in Ljubljana, has signed a contract with Strabag for the execution of the southern section of the project. The southern part of Emonika with a contract value of €134 million will feature a 100-metre-high office tower, a shopping centre, a hotel and four levels of underground parking.

Ljubljana’s largest ever project enters full-scale construction
Construction of the Emonika complex in Ljubljana has entered its next phase, marked by a groundbreaking ceremony hosted by OTP Group at the project site. As Slovenia’s largest real estate development, the complex is scheduled for completion by the end of 2027. Property Forum was on site to report from the ceremony.

Mogotel Hotel Group to expand in Ljubljana
Mendota Invest, owned by Hungarian OTP Group, has signed a lease agreement with Mogotel Hotel Group to bring Accor's TRIBE Hotels brand to the Emonika complex in Ljubljana, in a deal advised exclusively by CBRE.

New leases
- Jack & Jones has leased 310 sqm for a new store at Promenada Sibiu, owned by NEPI Rockcastle.
- Palas Campus, Romania's largest office building, is set to host the new regional hub for BCR starting this autumn. The HQ will occupy a surface area of approximately 1,000 sqm and will serve clients from the local county and adjacent regions.
- Teva Pharmaceuticals has relocated its offices to Budapest-based Corvin Skypark. The deal covering 653 sqm was brokered by iO Partners.
New appointments
- NEPI Rockcastle has nominated Zelda Roscherr as an Independent Non-Executive Director. Roscherr will stand for election at the Annual General Meeting (AGM) in May 2026. André van der Veer, currently an Independent Non-Executive Director, will retire at the conclusion of the AGM and will not seek re-election.
- Panattoni has promoted Nick Cripps to the position of Head of International Capital Markets for Europe, the UK, the Middle East, and India. Based in London, Cripps is tasked with leading the firm’s global capital markets strategy across 18 diverse markets. He joined Panattoni five years ago as Head of UK Capital Markets.
- PSN has expanded its acquisitions team with the arrival of Martin Šrytr as Business Development Manager. Most recently, he served as Real Estate Expansion Manager at Twistcafe Group, supporting the company’s EMEA growth. His previous experience includes consulting at Cushman & Wakefield, advisory roles at Prochazka & Partners, and management positions within IWG.
