Property investment trust Fortress, based in South Africa, has reached an agreement to purchase ELI Park 1, an industrial project in Buftea-Chitila, near Bucharest, for an undisclosed sum. The sellers of the 50,000 sqm project are Element Industrial and Pavăl Holding.

Fortress REIT, one of the largest developers in South Africa and the majority shareholder of NEPI Rockcastle, buys with €30 million the warehouses built by the owners Dedeman and Ionuț Dumitrescu in Chitila, according to Economica.net.
South African investor Fortress REIT has acquired two logistics parks in Bydgoszcz and Stargard from Griffin Property Finance. This is the first direct acquisition in Poland by Fortress REIT and the value of the transaction has not been disclosed.

SIG, a supplier of building products on the Polish market has decided to relocate its branch. It leased 2,067 sqm of warehouse and office space in City Logistics Katowice. The tenant was represented in the negotiation process by real estate advisory firm Cresa Poland.
