Romanian developer Zacaria Group will invest €28 million in a business park in the city of Craiova. OTP Bank Romania will provide financing for the 53,000 sqm project.

Catinvest to invest €70 million in Craiova mall
French real estate group Catinvest plans to expand Electroputere Parc, the company’s shopping mall in Craiova, by 9,200 sqm. The group has also started the construction of an additional mixed-use building which will comprise 12,000 sqm of retail space, 15,000 sqm of Class A office space and over 700 underground parking spaces. Total investment in will exceed €70 million by the end of 2018.

Zacaria Group to build industrial park in Craiova
The construction works on the new business park in Craiova are ongoing and the first 10,000 sqm of industrial space will be delivered by the end of the year, Romanian real estate developer Zacaria announced. Southern Industrial Park will comprise 43,000 sqm of Class A industrial space, fully equipped for activities such as storage, logistics, cross-docking or manufacturing.

New leases
- Speedwell has secured four new medical tenants for its Paltim mixed-use urban project in Timișoara. Colegiul Medicilor Stomatologi - Filiala Timiș has leased approximately 105 sqm, with an opening scheduled for November 2026. Concurrently, Paul Bold Dental Solutions will open a 143 sqm dental clinic in November 2026. Ophthalmology clinic ArtVision Med & Sofilens Lux has occupied 172 sqm since January 2026. Lastly, Ziva, a dermatology, aesthetics, and gynaecology clinic, has taken 92 sqm and will officially open in July 2026.
- Equans has leased 1,600 sqm for a new IT hub in Bucharest-based One Cotroceni Park, in a deal brokered by Cushman & Wakefield Echinox.
- Premium office operator Hotspot has expanded its flexible workspace footprint within Bucharest's The Mark building by approximately 700 sqm to meet rising corporate demand. The expansion brings the total area of private office and coworking spaces at the Hotspot Workhub sites to approximately 2,552 sqm.
New appointments
- BNP Paribas Real Estate Poland has expanded its Industrial and Logistics Agency team with the appointments of Joanna Choromańska, formerly of JLL, and Bartosz Wilczyński, previously with CBRE. The new hires bring a combined 34 years of experience in sector sales, lease negotiations, and build-to-suit project delivery to support the division's ongoing growth.
- Speedwell has expanded its industrial and logistics team with the appointment of Valentin Achim as Leasing and Property Manager for Industrial Developments. Achim brings extensive experience in coordinating commercial and operational activities within the logistics and industrial sectors. In his new role, he will oversee the development and expansion of the company's Spaceplus platform.
- Colliers has appointed Kata Mazsaroff, Tamás Beck, and Miklós Ecsődi as Equity Partners in Hungary, effective 30 April 2026. Mazsaroff, who joined in 2007, rises to Managing Partner after overseeing a 200 per cent revenue increase since her 2022 appointment as Managing Director. Beck, with Colliers since 1994, has led the Industrial & Logistics division since 2005, facilitating transactions covering 1.9 million sqm of built space and 9.8 million sqm of land. Ecsődi, Head of Occupier Services and Office Agency since joining in 2011, has secured over 450,000 sqm in leases valued above €600 million.
