Cordia adds 300 new homes to Hungarian pipeline

Responding to the extremely buoyant demand, Hungarian residential property developer Cordia is adding more than 300 new homes to its supply by the end of the year. This move will increase the number of new homes available in Budapest's 8th district by a third, while in the 1st district the company's development will essentially represent the entire new home supply. The company, a member of the Futureal Group, will have a record year this year, delivering around 50% more homes than last year and tripling the number of apartments sold.

Cordia buys office space in Birmingham for new UK HQ

Hungary-based residential developer Cordia International Zrt. continues its international expansion strategy. After acquiring UK developer Blackswan last year, the company has announced the acquisition of a new office space in the heart of the Jewellery Quarter, Birmingham, England, which will become Cordia Blackswan’s UK headquarter. The property developer is set to refurbish and move into a former branch of Lloyds bank. The historical building will not only be home to Cordia Blackswan, but it will also offer modern office and co-working spaces.

Latest news


New leases

  • Schreder Polska and Urgo Polfa Łódź have extended their lease agreements for office space in the West Station buildings in Warsaw. The companies are using a total of more than 1,000 sqm of space.
  • Workspace Studio, a company specialized in office design solutions, has signed a 5-year lease extension for its office in Bucharest-based Sky Tower. The contract also includes a space expansion up to 810 sqm in the project owned by RPHI.
  • Depanero, the largest electro-IT service company in Romania and part of the eMAG group, has leased over 4,000 sqm in two of its buildings in Sema Parc based in Bucharest. The transaction was intermediated by real estate consultancy Griffes Romania.

New appointments

  • Agnieszka Baczyńska took up the position of Head of Leasing - Retail in CPIPG. She is responsible for the commercialization of retail facilities from the CPIPG portfolio. Baczyńska also manages the leasing of office space on the buildings owned by CPIPG.
  • Ferenc Gondi has been appointed to a new post as Country Head for CTP Hungary. He's been part of CTP's activity for over 5 years.
  • Barbora Jansová joined Building & Project Consultancy team at Savills Prague Office as the new ESG Consultant & Project Manager in September 2022. She will be working alongside the Head of BPC, Jan Jurčíček.
