Solida Capital Group has secured project financing from Santander Bank Polska for the conversion of a centrally located Warsaw office building, the company announced on LinkedIn. The project involves refurbishing and transforming the existing building into a modern 268-room aparthotel, which will be the first Staycity Group-operated property in Poland.

According to epiteszforum.hu, Futureal Group’s residential developer arm Cordia will convert the next, currently shell-stage phase of the Corvin Innovation Campus office complex into a residential building. Designed by Radius B+S Architects, the eight-storey building will house more than 200 apartments, some featuring ceiling heights over 3 metres, thanks to the existing structural design. The project will also include a three-level underground garage, 400 sqm of communal space for residents, and a 160 sqm rooftop terrace exclusively for residents.

Developer Immocap is launching the sale of residential units in a new project in Bratislava. It is a reconstruction of a former office building in the wider city centre.

The new direction of investing is clearly visible in the commercial real estate sector. Changes in the purpose of investments and building conversions are also on the increase.
