Colliers has started a cooperation with Stena Fastigheter and has taken under management Spark B, its office building in Warsaw’s Wola district.

Albania remains a dynamic real estate market, growing in both the retail and office sectors. The COVID-19 pandemic had a definite impact in the first quarter of 2020, but with the ease of the quarantine restrictions, the real estate market picked up and recorded higher than usual transaction volumes, particularly in the residential sector. Colliers Albania published its top 5 predictions for the Albanian property market in 2021.

Over 230 real estate projects in Romania have been certified to meet health, safety and sustainability standards and the pandemic has boosted the efforts of developers to meet targets for such ratings, according to Colliers. 

Slovenian company Iskra has become the new owner of a pharmaceutical industrial/logistics asset in Montenegro, located in Donja Gorica, on the outskirts of Podgorica. In addition to this acquisition, Iskra also bought several pharmacies in Montenegro, ekapija reports.

Considering the market history before the pandemic period, Colliers consultants are optimistic about the capacity of the market to recover and that the investors’ interest in this market will again come back in time, though the next few years will certainly prove difficult ones.

Colliers has taken over the management of the second office building of the Moje Miejsce complex at 3 Dziekońskiego street in Warsaw's Mokotów district. The project was developed by Echo Investment. 

2020 was a record year for industrial and logistics investment volumes with ca. €3.3 billion transacted and a 32% share of the total annual volumes, according to “The CEE Industrial Scene 2020-2021” released by Colliers.

Colliers consultants expect a lot of buildings due in 2022 or later to be postponed at least until the market balances itself out.

After a year in which the volume of investments amounted to about €900 million, 2021 will not be as rosy. Colliers consultants foresee a total volume for commercial real estate transactions in excess of €500 million. They also see room for a slight decrease in yields by the end of the year for prime office and prime industrial, if the economy, political and monetary system will be satisfactory.
