Codic launches new office project in Budapest

Codic Hungary, a subsidiary of the Belgian developer Codic International, has launched its new office project called Modiano in downtown Budapest. It will offer 13,500 sqm of office space with 450 sqm of retail and the handover is scheduled for Q4 2025.

French investor buys office complex in Budapest

French company Groupama Gan REIM, on behalf of the SCPI Affinités Pierre, has acquired the Green Court Office complex on Budapest's Váci Road from Codic Hungary. The complex, comprising two buildings, offers 20,181 sqm of office space.

Codic’s Budapest office project gets certified

Green Court Office, a 20,000 sqm office building located in District 13 of Budapest has reached structural completion last week. A few days earlier, Green Court Office was awarded an interim BREEAM Excellent certification. The building is scheduled to be completed at the end of 2021.

Codic Hungary proceeds with Budapest mixed-use project

Codic Hungary is embarking on the revitalisation of several listed buildings and their surroundings at Budapest’s Margit Boulevard. The developer plans to preserve the architectural values of a listed school building, a neglected listed building block and revive the surrounding green areas.

New leases

  • Jack & Jones has leased 310 sqm for a new store at Promenada Sibiu, owned by NEPI Rockcastle.
  • Palas Campus, Romania's largest office building, is set to host the new regional hub for BCR starting this autumn. The HQ will occupy a surface area of approximately 1,000 sqm and will serve clients from the local county and adjacent regions.
  • Teva Pharmaceuticals has relocated its offices to Budapest-based Corvin Skypark. The deal covering 653 sqm was brokered by iO Partners.

New appointments

  • NEPI Rockcastle has nominated Zelda Roscherr as an Independent Non-Executive Director. Roscherr will stand for election at the Annual General Meeting (AGM) in May 2026. André van der Veer, currently an Independent Non-Executive Director, will retire at the conclusion of the AGM and will not seek re-election.
  • Panattoni has promoted Nick Cripps to the position of Head of International Capital Markets for Europe, the UK, the Middle East, and India. Based in London, Cripps is tasked with leading the firm’s global capital markets strategy across 18 diverse markets. He joined Panattoni five years ago as Head of UK Capital Markets.
  • PSN has expanded its acquisitions team with the arrival of Martin Šrytr as Business Development Manager. Most recently, he served as Real Estate Expansion Manager at Twistcafe Group, supporting the company’s EMEA growth. His previous experience includes consulting at Cushman & Wakefield, advisory roles at Prochazka & Partners, and management positions within IWG.
