Speedwell, in cooperation with Belgian partner LCV, launches SpacePlus, its first project on the industrial market. SpacePlus comes with units for light industrial and/or logistical usage, addressing corporate tenants that are searching for standardized storage or production units, flexibility in configuration and various additional services/features. The first location is in north-western Bucharest, with direct access from the ring road and close to the exit towards the A1 highway on the one hand, and easy access to and from the city centre of Bucharest via Sos. Chitilei or Blvd. Iuliu Maniu, on the other.

SpacePlus is a new concept on the Romanian market, aiming to become a nationwide brand with locations covering all major cities. The product addresses the needs of companies that are expanding and require more space for storage or light production activities, but also those businesses currently housed in obsolete facilities, often lacking the necessary authorisations. The SpacePlus business storage units are meant for (online) retailers, manufacturers, sales representatives and more.

The first warehouse, located on the west side of Bucharest, caters to SME needs with a total of 10,000 sqm of available space to rent, with units ranging from 400 to 600 sqm in surface and a clear height of 6m, that can be added up to a total surface of 2,000 sqm. Additionally, the storage spaces can benefit from heating, office space and sprinklers, as per the tenants' needs. The first SpacePlus location offers accessibility, 24-hour security and a state-of-the-art and durable concept.

Cost-wise, the pricing structure is flexible and transparent, offering clients the possibility to calculate real-time storage rental fees using the configuration option on the SpacePlus website. The first units will be available starting H1 2022.

“We are excited to expand Speedwell’s field of activities and enter the industrial market. Although this is new terrain for us, we are confident that our team will provide the best products and services, just as they do with every other project we have developed so far. SpacePlus is a product we have come up with to cater to the unmet needs of small and medium companies. We are optimistic about what the future holds for this market segment and hopeful clients will receive our product with the same enthusiasm as they did with our other projects.” stated Didier Balcaen, CEO and CO-Founder Speedwell.
