Scallier is developing a retail park in Bolesławiec, on Aleja Tysiąclecia Street within the city's retail district in its eastern part. For years, this area has been home to food service chains and grocery operators, strengthening its position as one of the region's retail destinations.
The project is being developed on the site of a former Tesco supermarket, which Scallier acquired in partnership with a private investor. The investment involves a redevelopment and modernisation of the existing property and infrastructure. The opening is scheduled for September 2026. Upon completion, the retail park will offer approximately 5,000 sqm of gross leasable area (GLA), with the option to expand the scheme by an additional 2,000 sqm.
Wojciech Jurga, Managing Partner at Scallier, said the company is responsible for the project's delivery, from the initial concept and development, through management of the redevelopment works, to leasing and long-term management of the property. "At the current stage of construction, the retail park has already been fully leased. We have just signed the final lease agreement with ShockPrice, a new off-price retail chain operating within the Modivo Platform, which will occupy 1,700 sqm," said Jurga. He added that all the brands set to open will be making their debut in the Bolesławiec market.
Residents of Bolesławiec will be able to make their first purchases shortly after this summer. The tenant mix includes ALDI, ShockPrice, Action, Xtreme Fitness, and the Dr. Max pharmacy, which already operates at the location. The offering will be complemented by a Petroprix unmanned fuel station. The park sits near National Road 94 (DK94), Bolesławiec's bypass, connecting the city with destinations including Zgorzelec and Legnica, ensuring access for the city's more than 37,000 residents and customers from across the region.
The Bolesławiec development reflects Scallier's business model implemented across both the Polish and Romanian markets, involving the company's engagement throughout the investment lifecycle, from land acquisition and development management, through leasing, to property management.
