Scallier has launched commercialization of a new retail park in Darłowo, with opening planned for summer 2027. The investor behind the project is Medos, while Scallier handles the leasing process.
The project has secured road access to the national road, and local planning provisions allow for construction of more than 18,000 sqm of retail space. Anna Wojciechowska, Senior Leasing Manager at Scallier, said the project has been perceived as an investment with above-average commercial potential. "We anticipated a fast pace of commercialization; however, the actual level of interest from tenants has significantly exceeded our expectations, confirming the attractiveness of both the location and the investment concept," she noted.
Construction preparation is set to begin in the first half of 2026. The first lease agreements were signed in December, and further ones are currently at an advanced stage of negotiations, Wojciechowska added. The project will be implemented in phases, with an application for the first stage already submitted.
Darłowo, located in the West Pomeranian Province with over 12,000 residents, is one of the most popular Baltic Sea resorts. The local market shows significant seasonal increase in purchasing power from tourist inflow, with approximately 1 million people visiting the city and surrounding holiday destinations annually.
