Globalworth reports €47.5 million net profit for 2021

Record levels of investment poured into European residential assets last year, with spending nearly equal to that of office investment, Knight Frank reports. Just shy of €100 billion of assets were traded in the European residential investment sector in 2021, up 60% on 2020, analysis of data from RCA shows.

New leases

  • Transport company Zadbano has become a new tenant at LCube Rzeszów Airport. The company has taken 1.3 thousand sqm of warehouse space in Building 2, which was completed last year.
  • Santander Towarzystwo Funduszy Inwestycyjnych is moving its Poznań headquarters to the Nowy Rynek complex being developed by Skanska. The tenant will occupy nearly 900 sqm of space in Building E.
  • Medical company Fresenius Medical Care has renegotiated its lease of 3,900 sqm of warehouse space and 120 sqm of office space in Prologis Park Poznań. The company was represented in the transaction by real estate advisory firm Newmark Polska.

New appointments

  • At the beginning of April 2024, Barbara Tomaszewska took over as Director of the first Aiden by Best Western in Łódź, Poland. She was previously Deputy Director at Golden Tulip Gdańsk Residence.
  • Oriol Casellas Deig has been appointed CFO of Redport Capital. He also joined the Board of Directors of the Romanian development company. Deig has over 20 years’ worth of experience in real estate.
  • InPost has appointed Javier van Engelen as Group CFO. He is an experienced manager, an expert in finance, who has held CFO positions in a number of international companies.
