The construction of Przystanek Karkonosze, which is being developed in Miłków on the outskirts of Karpacz (southern Poland), has started. Redkom Development, which is developing the facility, has announced that the complex will be delivered in Q2/Q3 2025

The 16,000 sqm GLA retail space will feature around 30 retail and service units representing sectors such as clothing, footwear, electronics, home furnishings, sports, drugstore, catering and DIY. The food operator will be the Lidl Polska chain.

The building is being constructed in cooperation between Redkom Development and the general contractor-Trasko Invest, and Gleeds Polska, which is responsible for the comprehensive management of the investment. Artside Architekci is responsible for the architectural design.

Trasko Invest, the general contractor of Przystanek Karkonosze, has been providing construction services on the Polish market and abroad for 30 years. During this time, the company has completed more than a thousand inspiring projects, covering almost five million square metres of commercial, logistics, residential and general building space.

Project management in terms of investment costs, surveyors, BREEAM certification and tenant coordination is provided by Gleeds Polska, part of the Gleeds Group - independent construction consultants with over 130 years of history and offices around the world. Gleeds has been supporting clients in Poland for over 35 years. It currently operates from 7 offices across the country, handling around 300 contracts a year for local and international clients, and supporting investment projects in various sectors.

"We have broken ground prepared on a new development. Thus, the construction of the largest retail park in the region began. In the heart of the Karkonosze, a modern commercial facility will be built that will significantly change the face of Karpacz, which is a base for millions of tourists from Poland and abroad. The retail park is not only a place for trade, but it also benefits the community by creating new jobs, an opportunity to cooperate with local businesses and another attraction on the map. We are confident that the new shopping complex will be a huge magnet for residents and numerous tourists", says Andrzej Chodacki, Project Manager, Redkom Development.

Redkom Development cooperates with Mallson Polska on the commercialization of the retail park Przystanek Karkonosze.
