Arvato, a logistics services provider for e-commerce and healthcare, has selected Prologis Park Poznań III as the location for its new European distribution centre. The investment will deliver a 46,000 sqm facility, including 1,000 sqm of office space.
Designed to support processes and automation, the warehouse will serve Arvato's client in the retail sector. Once completed, Arvato's total footprint across Prologis logistics parks in Poland will reach 176,000 sqm. Construction is underway, and the facility is scheduled for completion at the end of 2026.
Arvato's new warehouse has been adapted for automation systems and high-density storage. In addition, a floor slab built to flatness standards will support the operation of mobile robots and the movement of VNA trucks in narrow racking aisles.
"The new warehouse at Prologis Park Poznań III is another project we are delivering together with Arvato," said Paweł Sapek, SVP, Regional Head, Central Europe at Prologis. "The facility where Arvato will soon begin operations will stand out for its technological solutions and sustainability standards." The new facility will feature energy efficiency measures including natural daylight through roof skylights, smart metering systems, and enhanced insulation.
