PKB Inwest Budowa is moving forward with the construction and leasing of a new retail park in Zawiercie, Silesia. The project, covering 16,000 sqm, is set for completion by the end of Q1 2026. Located on Wojska Polskiego Street, the development aims to serve residents of Zawiercie and surrounding towns, with a total catchment area of approximately 250,000 people within a 30-minute drive.

The park's key tenant will be Castorama, which will occupy over 8,000 sqm. Lidl has also been confirmed as a tenant, taking around 2,000 sqm. The project will include units for both Polish and international retail chains, along with a spacious parking area offering 430 spaces.

“Zawiercie is an excellent location for this type of investment, given its accessibility and demographic potential. Our goal is to create a space that meets daily shopping needs while contributing to the region’s economic growth and generating new jobs,” said Jacek Ostwald, General Partner at PKB Inwest Budowa. “Strong interest from tenants, with nearly 100% of the space already leased, confirms the project’s relevance to both residents and the retail sector.”

The leasing process is being managed by Beata Bandalewicz from REA. PKB Inwest Budowa is one of the most active investors in Poland’s retail park segment, with ongoing projects in Nowa Ruda, Rokietnica, Szprotawa, and Chełmża.
