Panattoni is constructing another build-to-order facility for Danfoss, a global leader in heating, cooling, industrial automation and electric drives. The modern production and warehouse facility spans approximately 22,500 sqm in Tuchom, with construction scheduled for completion this spring.
Danfoss has operated in Tuchom for over a decade, manufacturing heat distribution units used in heating, cooling, ventilation and domestic hot water systems. The new factory will be built near the existing facility to increase production capacity and accommodate 500 employees.
"A modern, expanded production plant opens up new opportunities for us. Thanks to the latest technologies, we are increasing our production capacity, shortening order fulfilment times and improving efficiency while maintaining quality standards," says Adam Jędrzejczak, General Director and President of the Management Board of Danfoss Poland. "The new factory guarantees safety and comfort at work with advanced health and safety systems and ergonomic solutions."
The facility will feature installations distributing oxygen, acetylene, argon, helium and technical gas mixtures. Heat pumps will serve as the primary source of heating, cooling and ventilation, with gas boilers only as emergency backup. "Our project for Danfoss reflects how we respond to specific technological needs of our customers in tailor-made projects, creating modern and environmentally friendly facilities," says Maciej Zawada, Head of Business Development at Panattoni BTS.
This marks the second collaboration between Panattoni BTS and Danfoss, following a factory in Grodzisk Mazowiecki that became Danfoss's first low-carbon facility globally. That project relocated 45 production lines from Denmark and featured heat recovery systems, heat pumps and advanced building management systems.
