Panattoni Europe is growing its capital market structures. The team has been joined by Michał Stanisławski, taking on a new position of Director of Capital Markets Poland. Among other tasks, he will be responsible for managing investor relations, including raising capital for the developer’s dynamically growing investment projects in the country.

The commercial property market in Poland has been booming for several years. Last year, it broke a new record high, with the volume of investment transactions exceeding €7.2 billion. Spectacular growth was observed particularly in the segment of warehouse and industrial real estate – close to 83 per cent growth year-on-year. The trend remains strong this year. In the first half of 2019, a record-breaking 1.1 million sqm of space was commissioned, of which nearly 0.45 million sqm was delivered by Panattoni Europe.

“The strong activity in the warehouse market is a result of significant expansion in the e-commerce sector, which enhances the appeal of that market and attracts increasing attention from investors, including those from abroad. That is why close and successful cooperation between Panattoni and capital partners and investors in logistics real estate in Poland is crucial. Michał Stanisławski’s competence in this area is unquestionable,” says Karina Trojańska, Chief Financing & Operating Officer – Poland at Panattoni Europe.

Michał Stanisławski has over 11 years of experience in the real estate business. He started his career at Deutsche Bank, from where in 2008 he moved to join the Capital Markets/Investment Properties team at CBRE. While there, he was responsible for securing transactions, leading negotiation and due diligence processes, evaluating asset management strategies and project management. He specialised particularly in the institutional real estate investment market, with a special emphasis on direct core, core+ and value-add investors. In the course of his career at CBRE, Michał was involved in investment projects worth approx. €10 billion – from individual assets through to transnational portfolios of numerous properties, and most recently in such transactions as Wars Sawa Junior, Plac Małachowskiego, Diamentum Office and Silesian Logistics Centre.

Michał graduated from Abertay University, Scotland, in business and accounting, got a master’s degree majoring in commercial real estate at the Warsaw University of Economics (SGH), and completed with distinction a postgraduate course in property valuation and commercial real estate at the University of Reading. In 2012, he became a member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (MRICS).
